Is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and we will follow the standards and expectations provided by the Alberta’s Personal Information and Protection Act (P.I.P.A.), in our commercial business and as an employer. Where applicable, we will also observe the Personal and Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (P.I.P.E.D.A.).

We are in the commercial business of Search Services and we are an employer. We will protect your privacy when you:

2. Apply for employment to Prominent Personnel Ltd. as an employer in Alberta.

How the process works

As a contingency based Search firm, we have Clients for whom we conduct a search for qualified Candidates for a specific position. We Search for Candidates through various means including Searching our database, target emailing our network in their areas of specialty, posting positions on our website, networking in the marketplace and market research. A potential Candidate is informed about the role and the organization for which the Search is being conducted. We ensure that your Resume, or any other personal information about you, does not leave the confines of Prominent Personnel Ltd. unless you authorize us to go forward with discussing your suitability for the described position, with our Client.

If after we describe the profile of the position, you are not interested in proceeding, then your Resume may be left in our confidential database for more than 2 years so that we may contact you again to discuss future related Assignments.
If you are interested in the Assignment, then we will proceed with the Search steps with you and move forward with the Client.
Your personal information is treated confidentially and with respect. Your information will be used solely for the purpose of conducting Prominent Personnel Ltd. business. To ensure confidentiality, we retain personal telephone numbers and addresses in case we need to make contact about a position; we may not want communicate with you at your current place of employment.

Prominent Personnel Ltd. staff has been trained with respect of handling information in a confidential manner on and off our premises. Everyone is required to sign a confidentiality agreement as well.

Prominent Personnel Ltd. keeps your information in a secured database that is only accessible by our staff. They also sign an agreement ensuring Prominent Personnel Ltd. has sole proprietorship to all of the information in the database.

To further ensure security, we have installed a VPN Data Encryption for security of all information being transferred back and forth between our Calgary offices. We also have Firewall Protection and Virus Protection Software, Ever-changing Password Protection, our data is centrally stored on a secured server, and our server cabinets are locked.

Prominent Personnel Ltd. screens your Resume to determine whether the profile will be able to be presented to our Client for review. We will also prepare a report for our Clients with information in addition to that which you offer on your Resume. This information enhances the Resume and is intended to present a more detailed presentation of your experience and credentials. This report will include information you provide to us and may also include our opinion of your suitability for the role. Compensation information may also be included in our profile presentation. You will be aware of the information offered to Clients by way of your participation in our initial email communication with you. This information may be forwarded to our Clients through our password secured email.

All Candidates Prominent Personnel Ltd. selects to present to our Client may be asked to provide references who can address your style in the workplace from a technical aspect, personality traits, leadership and communications perspective.

Any hardcopy information about you also kept in secure space in the office of Prominent Personnel Ltd. and only accessible with the staff.
In addition to the above, we may also use your personal information to send you Prominent Personnel Ltd. newsletters, frequently called, “Twomanaga News”. If you do not want to receive our newsletter, please indicate that to us through email as well.

To delete or change your information, please update your profile through our Candidate Portal on our website.
